My fiance is thinking of getting watches for groomsmen gifts. Should we have them inscribed with something?

If an inscription is more formal, what should he have inscribed?

We got snaffle watches for our guys. Each was inscribed with their initials on one side, and a thank-you message with our names and the wedding date on the other. ("Thanksgiving owing to you for being part of our day.

That sounds slight! But if you do that you need to have each of the watches inscribed with something different for EACH OF THEM. Like their name, or each of their favorite saying from a movie or something. Don't get something your wedding date or anything like that. (Because your fusing day is for you two, not about anyone else.

Do you like to get awesome free gifts like branded watches if you have done lots of shopping?

I don't! I don't wearing watches. I almost always end up throwing away the free gifts because they aren't anything I would use or want. Give me a better price and no gift, please.

By Lake Cyane: 9

It is a season of new grass, velvet soft, and of blossoms that turn orchards into displays to rival Helios’ daily shows of love for the moon. At Demeter’s command the wheat stalks rise like thickets of spears and the blossoms give way to burgeoning fruits, green and gold and blushing pink. The purple and white crocuses, and the tiny smiling asters that grow where Persephone treads do not long show their bright faces to the sun. Hades watches her mourn the world she is soon to lose when she swaps the meadows above for the cold stone below. Though the world is wide each time he unerringly finds Persephone. Maybe she feels she is being watched, but accords it her mother’s stifling love. Wherever Persephone goes, Demeter sends one of her serpents to watch over her. Yes, Demeter’s love is strong, but Hades can offer gifts beyond a mother’s power. The earth crumbles and the new grass whithers in the shadow of his chariot. , for just as Hades’ horses provide swift passage, it too will provide a sure way down to the Underworld. Holding true to the promise he made, Hades does not go to Persephone’s bower, but instead drives his horses up, ever up, to Mount Olympus. It is a place he has been seldom since Zeus rigged the draw that accorded him power to rule, and condemned Hades to serve. He pauses outside the great bronze gates, twin to those in Tartarus, wondering if they will open for him. Hades cannot stifle a shudder as he imagines the chaos that would ensue should the gates of Tartarus open so easily. He is certainly no Dionysus, who at times crosses even the border of man and woman, nor Zeus who snatches what he wants just like a child would. His abduction of Persephone could be considered his only indiscretion since he donned his mantle and accepted his place in the shadowed lands. Hades does not find Zeus abed, as he expected, but standing regal and ready before his carven throne. Carved into the metal are scenes of Zeus’ great deeds. Where he would lean his head his own likeness hurls thunder down into the pit of Tartarus. Hades notes the carving on the arm. Here, Zeus aims another thunderbolt, his target the unfortunate Phaethon, burned up to save him from burning up the world in turn. Hades received the boy’s charred soul himself, as a personal favour to his father, Helios. He would have given it back, as Helios begged, but Zeus decreed that a boy foolish enough to steal the sun’s chariot did not deserve the second chance near all were denied....
